Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Fox-Mar Photography, Inc. ("Fox-Mar," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the Fox-Mar mobile app and web gallery viewer (together, the "Service"), which let families and customers view, download, and share photographs taken by their photographer.

No account required

The Service does not require you to create an account, sign in, or set a password. You open your gallery using a unique access code or link provided by your photographer. That code is the only credential needed.

Information we collect

• Gallery codes you enter. When you open a gallery, the app saves that gallery's code on your device so it appears in your collection. This stays on your device; it is not a user account with us.
• Gallery content. Your galleries contain the photographs, along with the name, school, and reference information your photographer or school provided to us. We process this to deliver your gallery; we did not collect it from you through the app.
• Contact details (only if provided to us). If your photographer gave us your email address or phone number to send your gallery invitation, we use it only to deliver that invitation and related notices.
• Limited technical data. Like most online services, our servers automatically receive basic technical information (such as IP address and request logs) needed to operate and secure the Service.

We do not sell your information, show you ads, or use your photos for marketing.

Photos and device permissions

When you choose to download or save a photo, the app asks permission to save to your device's Photos library. This permission is used only to save the photos you download. The app does not read or upload your existing photo library.

How we use information

• To deliver your gallery and let you view, download, and share your photos.
• To send gallery invitations or notices by email or SMS, when your photographer provides your contact details.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, and only as needed for that purpose. These include:

• Railway — application hosting.
• Amazon Web Services (S3) — secure photo storage.
• Mailchimp Transactional (Mandrill) — sending email invitations.
• Twilio — sending SMS invitations.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service. We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

Galleries and their photographs are retained for the period arranged with your photographer or school, after which they may be removed. Access links may expire over time. Gallery codes saved in the app remain on your device until you remove them.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access to galleries through unique codes and time-limited links. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children's privacy

The Service is intended to be used by the customer and their family. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the app. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Your choices

You can remove any gallery from the app at any time, which deletes its saved code from your device. To request removal of a gallery or related contact information from our systems, contact us at the email below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, through the Service.

Governing law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
